Sergiño Dest is one of three Americans to sign with PSV in the summer of 2023. The winger, initially rented from FC Barcelona, did not have to wait long for his debut; just two days after signing his contract he made his appearance in the away match against Rangers FC. The Almere-born right winger has been a staple from then on. But after 37 matches for PSV, a serious knee injury threw a spanner in the works. Despite this, PSV took him over from FC Barcelona in the summer transfer period.

In the 2024-2025 season, Sergiño has not yet played any matches, as the defender is still recovering from an injury.
Sergiño Dest is an American international. He was trained by Ajax and also made his debut in the Johan Cruijff Arena at the age of 18. After one season in Amsterdam, Ronald Koeman takes him to FC Barcelona. There he plays 72 matches and wins the Copa del Rey.
