Young PSV revenged Monday night for the defeat it suffered earlier this season against FC Den Bosch. At the Jan Louwers Stadion it became 2-1 thanks to a great goal by Sam Lammers.

Gudmundsson
The promising Psv U21 team, which included six talents from the A-selection, took an early lead. In the 8th minute, Albert Gudmundsson converted a penalty kick awarded after a foul on Cody Gakpo. Dennis Haar's team, which lost big in Den Bosch earlier this year, did not hold on to the lead for long, as FC Den Bosch came alongside in the 18th minute through Mert. In the remainder of the first half there were some more chances, the biggest of which were for Cody Gakpo and Albert Gudmundsson, but no goals were scored.

World goal Lammers
In the ever-increasing cold in the Jan Louwers Stadium, the first chance of the second half was for Gakpo. After about ten minutes he appeared face to face with goalkeeper Heemskerk, who managed to save. At the other end, Eloy Room was alert to Boss' attempts from distance. After more than an hour, Sam Lammers gave PSV the lead again in phenomenal fashion. The striker got his hands dirty with a fantastic placing ball from outside the penalty area: 2-1. The same Lammers then offered Bram van Vlerken the chance to decide the game, but the winger failed to do so. It made no difference to the result, however.
