PSV Women is preparing for the final game of season 2018 - 2019. After the disappointing denouement with the new national champions FC Twente, the team will close with an away game against PEC Zwolle. A preview.

For the first time in years, PSV Women competed with two other teams until the penultimate round of play for the national title in the Eredivisie Women. In the end, FC Twente managed to capture the title in a direct duel with PSV last Friday. PSV Women now have the battle for second place in the Eredivisie Women to face cup finalist PEC Zwolle Women, against whom the team won the previous meetings convincingly.
Knob has been turned
"Despite the huge disappointment, the button has been turned this week in preparation for the game against PEC Zwolle," said coach Sander Luiten. "That says something about the attitude and mental resilience of the group. We want to finish the season well. We still have a second place to fight for and with that we can achieve the highest final ranking ever.''
