Early red card kills Young PSV in Oss

Things have not been going well for Young PSV in recent weeks, with only two points coming in the fourth period. The pledges were keen to change that against TOP Oss. However, it became clear at the start of the match that that was going to be very difficult.

Heavy penalty
It is questionable whether all spectators had already found their place in the stands when the ball was put on the dot. Captain Dennis Vos irregularly brought down a defender and received a red card. TOP Oss took the penalty and so the ten psv U21 players faced a monster task. Fate struck again when Mohammed Amin Doudah was injured and had to leave the field by stretcher. Ruud van Nistelrooy's men were beaten, but certainly not without chances. Every now and then they came out dangerously. At the other end, goalkeeper Kjell Peersman did not really have to come into action.

Glimmer of hope
The game had started unhappily on the artificial turf in Oss, but with only one goal between them, anything was still possible early in the second half. That there was something to be gained became especially clear when the Eindhoveners played the ball around high up in TOP Oss' half on several occasions. But there were no chances and time was ticking away. The home team might have noticed that it was not really in danger at the back and dared to play some more football. Yet it wasn't until the 90th minute, when the deficit was doubled, that the curtain finally fell for Young PSV.
