Three days after the victory over Willem II, PSV awaits an away match against NAC Breda. Phillip Cocu looks ahead on Monday morning.
Excellent weekend
"If you keep winning yourself, then you can see what the rival does and they have been laying points," Cocu looked back on last weekend. "We did everything we could to win that match and then you enforce that." A few players suffered some soreness from the game against Willem II, but it seems everyone will be employable tomorrow, including Wijnaldum. "There are some players with minor complaints, but nothing such that they could not be with the squad for tomorrow. Wijnaldum looks pretty good. We are training one more time, so if that all goes well he can just play."
Defensively compactly organized
NAC Breda kept the zero the last two games, according to Cocu they are defensively stable and give away few opportunities. "The last few games NAC has played mainly from a compact defensive organization. I actually expect that again tomorrow. With the lines close together, putting pressure on the ball in their own half to give away little space and from there they lurk for the opportunities that are going to come. In Breda, PSV will meet Menno Koch, who has been rented to the club until the end of the season. "It's nice that Menno is playing his games there and that he's doing well too. That is the reason why he was rented out, to play his matches. And it's just nice that that's going well."
The match starts Tuesday night at 8:45 p.m. and will be played at the Rat Verlegh Stadion. Referee for the game is Kevin Blom. PSV will be supported in Breda by a full away section.
