One of the most special matches of the year is scheduled for Young PSV on Friday. At 8 p.m., the Jan Louwers Stadion will be the setting for the Eindhoven city derby.

First win of 2015 for Psv U21
Darije Kalezic's team surprisingly lost 2-0 to Achilles '29 on the first match day after the winter break and had also failed to win three matches in a row before that. PSV then recovered with an excellent win over FC Twente. The Rotterdammers were beaten 4-1 at De Herdgang sports complex. Rai Vloet (twice), Marcel Ritzmaier and Moussa Sanoh were the goal scorers last Monday.

FC Eindhoven, proud number 2 of the Jupiler League
This season FC Eindhoven is one of the surprises of the Jupiler League. Jean-Paul de Jong's team is in a great second place and after the winter break they defeated frontrunner N.E.C. with impressive results: 3-0. Last week's draw against Achilles was 1-1, but that does not alter the fact that the city rivals of Young PSV are capable of a lot. It promises to be an exciting game.

History of the derby

After twenty minutes Maxime Gunst caused a penalty kick on behalf of FC Eindhoven and was sent off with a red card. Clint Leemans then seized the opportunity. However, with ten men FC Eindhoven was still too strong for Young PSV. Eleven minutes after the 1-0, Chiro N'Toko scored the 1-1 draw. An own goal by Sander Heesakkers and a goal by Fries Deschilder made it 1-3. Last year, Young PSV managed to take the three points at FC Eindhoven by winning 1-2. Paul Beekmans put Eindhoven ahead 1-0, but after halftime Leemans and Aleksandar Boljevic decided the game in PSV's favor. It was the only time that Young PSV managed to win the derby.
