Every week, Gracenote finds out all about the matches PSV plays. PSV kicks off the important month of February with a home match against FC Twente. The last three meetings with the Enschedeans ended in a 1-1 draw.
Thirteen in a row
PSV did not lose once (W7-G6-V0) in the past thirteen meetings with the Tukkers. The last defeat dates back to May 12, 2013 when they lost 3-1. That match also featured Mark van Bommel playing his last official match. He left the field early with a second yellow card at the time.
Home sweet home
PSV lost only two of its last 69 home matches in the Eredivisie (W59-G8-V2). In both cases it lost to AZ. On a Saturday, PSV last lost at home on March 13, 2014, when it went down 2-3 against NAC Breda.
Goal-scoring machine
Roger Schmidt's team scored at least once in the last 25 Eredivisie matches. FC Twente has failed to find the net once in the last three games. The Tukkers have been waiting for a win for five games.
PSV's left wing defenders
Philipp Max was involved in 11 Eredivisie goals this season (five goals, six assists). The last defender involved in so many goals is also a PSV player: Jetro Willems, who played in the same position, scored twice and gave thirteen assists in the 2014-2015 season.
Luciano Narsingh
An old acquaintance returns to Eindhoven on Saturday night. Luciano Narsingh has been rented by Feyenoord to FC Twente since this winter. He wore the PSV shirt from 2012 to 2016 in which he played 115 Eredivisie matches and scored 21 times.
The tenth for Malen?
If Donyell Malen manages to score against FC Twente on Saturday, he will become the third player, after Steven Berghuis and Dušan Tadic, to score at least 10 goals in the Eredivisie three seasons in a row.
