"We started very well," he continued. "Luuk (De Jong, ed.) quickly grabbed his goal and then we were lucky to make it 2-0. After that we did drop back a bit and some sloppiness arose, but after that penalty it was over. We had enough chances in the second half to extend the score. That we failed to do so is a pity," Van Ginkel, now co-top scorer of the Eredivisie thanks to his ten goals, remained somewhat critical.
De Jong: 'important win'
Luuk de Jong, who provided the other two goals, called the three-point win important. "We already wanted to revenge in Groningen, but today we really showed what we have to do. We played strong, it's a shame it stayed at 3-0 because we could have scored more often."
