PSV definitely acquires Malik Tillman from Bayern Munich. The American international, active with PSV on a rental basis this season, has signed a four-year contract.

On Aug. 10, 2023, Malik Tillman officially joins the club and barely a month later he appears at the kickoff of an Eredivisie match for the first time. With a goal and an assist, his starting debut is a resounding success. The off the field so subdued footballer convinces everyone of his qualities: technical, football intelligent and ice cold in the small spaces. With 37 duels so far, 9 goals and 15 assists in his first season, PSV is happy to announce that Malik is definitely staying.

Malik Tillman Malik went through the entire Bayern Munich youth academy and also made his professional football debut there at the age of 19. After a year in the A-selection of the European superpower, Malik left on rental basis to Rangers FC, where he turned a very creditable season with 43 games, twelve goals and five assists.

Value more than proven
Director of Football Affairs Earnest Stewart is incredibly proud that an important player from the championship team is now permanently locked in. "Malik has more than proved his worth this season. He is a fantastic footballer with an awful lot of qualities. In addition, he has also undergone a great development, as a footballer and as a person. I am very happy that he will be playing for PSV for a long time to come."

Further development
"I am very happy to stay longer at PSV. The first season has been great and I hope we will continue to win a lot of prizes in the coming years," said Malik, who feels valued at PSV. "That gives me the confidence that I am in the right place here and that I can develop into an even better footballer here."

Head coach Peter Bosz is also looking forward to a longer collaboration with Malik. "I am extremely happy that he is staying. He is only 21 years old, but has already made so many steps in his development this year. That is great to see and I am curious to see how he will continue to develop."
