Koen Jansen makes the transfer to Roda JC Kerkrade free of charge. The 20-year-old winger's contract expires on July 1. Then six years of PSV Academy will come to an end for Koen.
Koen was considered the regular left back of Young PSV in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie this season. The attacking winger was involved in six goals in 22 matches, one of which he scored himself. His time with the promising team began in 2022, when he made his debut under Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 5-1 win over Almere City.
Grateful
The Wijchen native played in the past for several youth teams of Oranje. He also played a number of practice matches for PSV 1. "I look back on a great time, in which I learned a lot in a fantastic environment. I always enjoyed being on the pitch, thanks in part to my teammates, who have now become friends. Even in difficult times everyone was there for me and I am grateful for that," Koen says. PSV thanks Koen for six years of loyal service and wishes him every success with the continuation of his career.
