Talented Englishman CJ Egan-Riley joins Young PSV on a rental basis. The rental deal with Burnley FC has a term of six months. In addition, PSV has negotiated an option to buy the 21-year-old right-back cum central defender.
Conrad Jaden Egan-Riley made his debut at the age of 18 for Manchester City, the club where he received his education. In 2022 he made a switch to Burnley FC, but in the north of England he played mainly for the pledge team. Six official duels he appeared in action for the main squad. In the winter transfer window of 2023, he was rented out for six months to Scottish Hibernian, where he grew into a base player.

Director of Football Affairs Earnest Stewart is pleased that the English youth international has chosen PSV: "CJ is a very talented player. It is not for nothing that we already wanted to bring him to PSV in the summer. He first joins the U23 team, where he can play in the spotlight of the main squad during matches and training sessions."
