"We didn't lose it here, but it's over now." Goalkeeper Davy Pröpper was one of the players who reacted to the 1-1 draw against ADO Den Haag after the game more than disappointed.

After two championships in a row, third place in the Eredivisie seems to be reserved for PSV this season, Pröpper believes. If Ajax does not lose points against sc Heerenveen on Sunday, the difference between Ajax and PSV a week before the meeting at Philips Stadium is six points. "We'll still want to give the fans something against Ajax, but I don't expect there to be much at stake next week," Pröpper told FOX Sports.

Head coach Phillip Cocu looked for the cause of the draw to be the failure to make it 0-2. "We should have decided the game a long time ago," he thought, pointing to the chances his team created. "It's typical of this season. We have the chances, but don't pull the trigger. I thought we started well, deservedly got into the lead but we weren't able to score the second goal. You know at 0-1 it remains a game. This is extremely disappointing."
