Donyell Malen was disappointed with the draw against sc Heerenveen. The striker, who did not score himself felt to ESPN that it was not his afternoon.
Plenty of chances
"We had plenty of chances, but it ends in disappointment," Malen began his analysis. PSV's number nine wore the captain's armband in the second half after Pablo Rosario was substituted at halftime. PSV was looking at a 1-0 deficit at the time and took the lead in the 58 minute. However, a minute later it became 2-2 and the team did not recover from that setback. "It wasn't good enough, they kept the middle close well. We struggled with that," Malen said. "I know we should have won, but it didn't work out. WE have to make sure we get second. The season is long, but that's what matters now."
