Upon entering the field, prior to the match against FC Groningen, PSV's players will wear special shirts as a tribute to Willy van der Kuijlen. The unique shirts bearing his name, jersey number 11, year of birth and year of death can be won by lottery. All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer Nederland Foundation.

The promotion is an initiative of Supporters Association PSV and embraced by the Alzheimer Nederland Foundation and PSV. The shirts can be won by online lottery. A ticket, which gives you a chance to win one, costs € 11,- and the full amount will benefit the foundation that conducts research into Alzheimer's disease. Van der Kuijlen himself suffered from this disease in the last years of his life.

All sections of PSV paid extensive attention to the death of Willy van der Kuijlen this week - and at the match against FC Groningen. From supporter initiatives to the club itself, Van der Kuijlen was paid his last respects. Mister PSV passed away in the night from Sunday to Monday. He was 74 years old.
