Five PSV/FC Eindhoven players will join the Dutch women's team and Oranje O19 this weekend. Daniëlle van de Donk, Angela Christ and Maran van Erp are going to Iceland and Norway, Corine Peels and Laura Strik are participating in the European Championship qualification with Oranje O19 at home.
Practicing in Northern Europe
The Dutch women's team of national coach Roger Reijners will play the away game against Iceland on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Kópavogur. Four days later, on Wednesday, the away game against Norway, also a participant in next summer's World Cup. The team plays the practice matches in preparation for the World Cup in Canada.
EC qualification
An important qualification series is about to begin for Orange Under 19 in their own country. During the Elite Round, the reigning European champions will meet opponents Denmark, Slovenia and the Czech Republic. Saturday's game starts against the Czech Republic. Then follows the game against Slovenia on Monday and the final game against Denmark on Thursday. The group winner of the qualifying round qualifies for the 2015 European Championship in Israel.
