A late goal made the difference between a draw and a win at PSV. Bruma managed to surprise the FC Midtjylland goalkeeper to bring the win to Eindhoven. With five wins in a row, Roger Schmidt can go into the playoffs of the Champions League group stage with confidence.

Final blow
The margin could have been greater than one goal if it were up to Schmidt. Nevertheless, the Head Coach is positive: "It was not our top level, but it was a good game. We lacked efficiency in the first half. We would have liked to deliver the final blow earlier. But fortunately we were well prepared for FC Midtjylland's attacks," the German told SBS 6's camera.

Self-confidence
Win was not necessary, but pleasant for PSV. Because of the 3-0 win in the home game, a draw or a mild loss was enough, but Schmidt did not sign up for that: "It's important to win and to keep a clean sheet. This is our fifth win and third clean sheet in a row. The defense also has to be good and it's good for self-confidence. It is still difficult to make it to the group stage of the Champions League because we have to go against a club with a lot of experience anyway, who are used to football at a high level."
