Head coach Roger Schmidt is looking forward to the match between PSV and FC Twente. His team will take on the current number four of the Eredivisie on Saturday night in Enschede. There is a question mark behind the names of Ibrahim Sangaré, Cody Gakpo, Érick Gutiérrez and Jordan Teze. André Ramalho seems to be deployable again.

Vigil
"Twente is a strong opponent," Schmidt knows. "It plays well-kept football. In recent weeks, the club has been in good form. The last three games FC Twente won 1-0. In my eyes, the organization is solid. It's a team that only needs one goal to secure victory. They have no lack of self-confidence. Fortunately, that is also the case with us."

Question marks
Schmidt put another question mark behind the names of some players. "Jordan and Ibrahim have returned slightly injured from the national team. Cody is also still not a certainty. The final training session will be decisive for them. Then we can tie the knot and see if it is possible to draft them. For André, things are looking good. He is currently training fully with the group again, but has been absent for a long time. We won't take any unnecessary risks with him."

Earlier this season
"We played a good home game against them," Schmidt referred to the 5-2 win at Philips Stadium. "The opening phase was still a bit messy on our part. In it they scored two nice goals. Then we created a lot of good chances and scored a few more goals. It was a convincing win. Tomorrow I expect a different kind of match."

Fighter Guti
Guti played Wednesday night with Mexico against El Salvador. "He will hopefully just be there," Schmidt said. "He's a Mexican. And those are fighters. We'll see tomorrow morning if he's fit enough to play." Ryan Thomas and Phillipp Mwene are missing in any case. The pair still need several weeks to return from injury.
