PSV will visit amateur club SDC Putten of former pro Sander Duits on Thursday evening in the first round of the KNVB Cup. At Sportpark Putter Eng, head coach Phillip Cocu's team kicks off at 20:45.

Sterk Door Combinatie Putten is a Saturday premier league club from Gelderland. The amateur club is in thirteenth place in the league after two defeats and one win. To reach the first round of the cup tournament, Putten had to survive two preliminary rounds. In the first selection it won 1-0 against JVC Cuijk and in the second round Odin '59 was beaten 3-1.

Sander Duits is Wells' best-known player. The 33-year-old midfielder ended his professional career this summer. Last season Duits played for Go Ahead Eagles and before that he played for RKC Waalwijk, among others. With RKC he beat PSV once in 2012. German scored the opening goal then. At Putten he currently plays together with his brother Martijn.
PSV has not played Putten before. Feyenoord did practice against the club in the preparation for this season. The Rotterdammers won 10-1.
