Young PSV and FC Volendam both had not won for a while. In a very energetic match it was immediately clear what everyone's intentions were. Thanks in part to a very sharp Romero, the hard-fought game ended in a draw.
Battle
Under the persistent rain, Maxime Delanghe was the standout of the early stages. With two fine saves, he kept his team on their feet. Blistering final phase
After the break, it was still raining, but FC Volendam wanted to take it by storm. The away team was dangerous several times and scored via a corner. At Young PSV, however, Romero was still on the pitch and he showed again what he can do. At speed he beat his direct opponent and with a drive he passed goalkeeper Filip Stankovic. After the equalizer, Young PSV took the initiative, but after several chances still did not have the lead. It was a miracle that no goals were scored in the closing stages, because the visitors were also knocking on the door.
