Roda JC Kerkrade has the reputation of being a fearsome opponent of PSV. In the past, PSV lost points against the Limburgers both at home and away. Looking at the recent results in home duels, it is safe to conclude that the status of fear ally does not actually hold true.
Last defeat dates back to 2008
PSV won six of the last seven home matches with Roda JC in the Eredivisie (draw once). On Oct. 25, 2008, Roda last won in Eindhoven: 2-3. Anouar Hadouir, Andres Oper and Boldizsár Bodor scored for Roda JC, Balázs Dzsudzsák and Danko Lazovic scored the PSV goals.
The last time Roda JC managed to score a goal against PSV dates back to December 12, 2015. Since then, coach Phillip Cocu's team did not concede a goal. Roda JC only once had a longer series in which the club could not score against PSV: five games in 1974-1975.
