This season, PSV had no problems with Roda JC (4-0) in the first round of the cup. Moreover, Roda JC is currently not exactly on a roll on foreign soil. The Limburgers have not won any of their last seven away games (four draws, three losses) and have conceded at least two goals in each of their last five away games.
Safe lead
PSV has only conceded eight goals in home matches this season. So both teams know how to keep the score down, but have had problems scoring earlier in the season. When PSV did take the lead, they did not give it away: they have not lost a point after taking the lead this season. The battle for the first goal will therefore be of vital importance during PSV-Roda JC.
