Head coach Phillip Cocu thinks PSV did not show its best game on the visit to Feyenoord (2-1 defeat). He said that at the post-match press conference.

PSV not effective according to Cocu
"We didn't start the game well and then you call it on yourself that the crowd starts to support Feyenoord from the first second," Cocu said. "Already after twenty seconds we get a chance against. Only after twenty minutes did we get into the match and the game got better, without really getting many chances. Unfortunately, we lost the game because of a bad phase in the second half, in which we gave up two goals. Fortunately we scored a nice goal through Memphis and after that we kept fighting until the last minute to take a point back to Eindhoven. There were chances for the 2-2, but we were not effective enough. It wasn't there, we didn't show our best game today," Cocu concluded.

Rutten praises team performance
Feyenoord head coach Fred Rutten saw his team fight for every meter Sunday afternoon. "I have the same opinion about the match as Phillip. PSV could have made it 2-2, but we also made it 3-1. It wasn't our best match football-wise, there was a lot of fight. It was nice to see that the team was willing to fight with and for each other for the win. That is really a compliment to my team," Rutten said.
