Ernest Faber, Abel Tamata and Danny Wintjens were waved off by the crowd Sunday afternoon after PSV's victory over Heracles Almelo. During a lap of honor, they were thanked with hearty applause for their services rendered.

Becoming head coach
Assistant coach Ernest Faber was part of the technical staff for three years, two of them as assistant to Phillip Cocu and one to Dick Advocaat. In the past, he has been head coach twice and wants to take up that role again elsewhere. Faber addressed the crowd briefly and thanked the players, staff and all supporters for the cooperation and support over the past three years.

He expressed that he was proud to have played for PSV. "I always felt supported here, thanks for that. It was a great season, great to end my time here with a championship. I hope the club performs well again next year."
