PSV started Saturday with the familiar names again and that almost resulted in the 0-1 as early as the second minute. A cross from Wijnaldum was just too sharp for Memphis, who just couldn't reach it. After that, Cambuur took the initiative and the home side created a number of chances. Bartholomew Ogbeche shot wide from close range and moments later Jeroen Zoet had to make the first save, also on a shot by Ogbeche. Five minutes later he had to do it again, but he also managed to turn Sinan Bytyqi's attempt. Just before halftime it was PSV that struck. Georginio Wijnaldum headed in from an incoming cross by Jetro Willems: 0-1.

Memphis decides match
In the first part of the second half, there were hardly any highlights for either team. Cambuur and PSV struggled to find a gap in the opponent's defense. Fifteen minutes before time, however, Memphis Depay managed to do so. A pass from Santiago Arias was blocked, but not enough to reach Memphis via a bounce. He headed the ball very calmly over Nienhuis, who was coming out of his goal: 0-2. Cambuur tried to squeeze out a final offensive and got a little hope when substitute De Ridder scored. However, it did not make it to 2-2. As a result, PSV booked their second league victory of 2015: 1-2.
