Cocu bases his expectations on the fact that NAC Breda is playing its first Eredivisie match at home in two years. "We can assume that things will be fierce on Sunday. NAC is motivated to the bone, PSV against in the first home game of the season. That motivates," Cocu said. The head coach added that he also expects verbal fireworks from the stands. "We have to be prepared for that," he agreed. "And that's also nice huh. Some players actually get extra motivation out of it."

Last week, PSV garnered praise from supporters at the Philips Stadium, in part because of its attacking football against AZ. Cocu also enjoyed it. "But," he said, "we just have to deliver again on Sunday. We started well. Last week we had a little more time to train on specific points. Unfortunately, I would actually like to say, because we would have liked to have played European. But we can train with lineups now tactically at a somewhat different level. We see improvements in mutual understanding. Of course we can't perfect that in a week. However, we did have more days to work on the development of the team."
