At home Friday night, PSV Women recorded a 2-0 victory over closest rival ADO Den Haag. In an open match, Susanna and Moorrees provided the goals for the Eindhoven side.

Liberating goal
PSV Women started the game energetically and immediately had a good chance to open the score through a header by Nouwen. ADO Den Haag also appeared in front of Christ's goal led by talent Pelova. In a physical battle, however, PSV had the better chances through fast breakaways by Lewerissa and Susanna. On the stroke of half-time Susanna scored the opening goal after she was able to run through to goalkeeper Vreugdenhil at speed and hit the target unerringly: 1-0.

Playing conscientiously
After half-time the game remained up and down for a long time with chances for Coolen and Susanna, with Christ on the other side intervening excellently during a one-on-one chance with Van de Meer. After Lewerissa and earlier Folkertsma had to leave the field injured after fouls, there was more attacking pressure from the away team. PSV struggled at times but continued to play task-minded. PSV first became dangerous through a free kick by Van de Wetering on the crossbar. Shortly after, specialist Moorrees shot from another free kick on the edge of the box into the crossbar: 2-0. With that result, PSV consolidates its third place in the Eredivisie Women.
