The women's team plays its final home game of the season on Friday against leaders FC Twente Women. Only a win will keep the team in the title race. Especially for the fans, PSV Women has a little surprise in store.
After a strong season at home with nine wins, a draw and a loss, the final league game is scheduled for Friday night. PSV Women close with a crucial game in the title race. Only with a win against FC Twente does the team of coach Sander Luiten still have a chance at the first championship ever. Earlier this season they lost and kept each other in balance twice. Luiten looks ahead to the meeting with the Dutch side. We want to finish with dignity at home and hope for a lot of support from the public. It is our last chance and we will fight for it to the very end. I have twenty fit players at my disposal, we are ready for battle.''
