PSV Women failed to regain the lead in the Eredivisie Women. Coach Nebojsa Vuckovic's team suffered a 2-1 defeat in The Hague. The 18-year-old Aniek Nouwen scored again on behalf of PSV.

Advantage short-lived
The first phase of the match was PSV Women's with a lot of offensive pressure from the away team. This resulted in an early lead when defender Nouwen scored the 0-1 from a corner, already her third goal in the past four matches. The lead was short-lived as Hague standout Pelova converted a penalty kick after a committed foul, 1-1. After more than half an hour, Speelman appeared free in front of goalkeeper Christ and shot from close range to give the home team the lead, 2-1. Striker Lewerissa, still waiting for her first league goal this season, had the biggest chance on behalf of PSV before halftime but did not score.

Goalless second half
In a mediocre second half, Christ and keeper Kuijpers intervened on the goal line to prevent ADO Den Haag from extending their lead. PSV struggled to attack, but were closest to a goal in the closing stages when Nouwen's free kick was narrowly foiled by goalkeeper Lorsheyd. The final score was 2-1, giving PSV Women its first league defeat of the season.
