The three points stayed at home against Vitesse. With 2-0, PSV was too strong for the Arnheimers. The goals came from Sangaré and Bruma.

First shots
An empty stadium kicked off against Vitesse. PSV had to take three important points, without the support of the supporters. The first shot on goal came from a counter by Vitesse, but Joël Drommel had a fine save on his hands. PSV quickly took back control on the pitch. The first big chance was for Ritsu Doan, who shot the ball at Vitesse goalkeeper Schubert after a combination with Mario Götze. On a pass from Carlos Vinícius, Götze managed to get out, but to no avail. For the time being, there was little space to be found in the Arnhem defense, but that changed quickly.

Wonderful goals
PSV maintained their supremacy and rewarded themselves midway through the first half. Mauro JR cleverly took over the ball from Vitesse and set up an attack. From the ball was kicked away and fell at the feet of Ibrahim Sangaré. The Ivorian punished Vitesse mercilessly and shot the 1-0 from about 20 meters. This proved his form, Sangaré was lord and master in midfield. Bruma saw the example and made an attempt at a more beautiful goal himself. Vinícius laid the ball perfectly ready for Bruma and the latter volleyed the ball into the net in a rush. PSV took a good lead through two improbably beautiful goals. Despite the lead, PSV did not let go of the reins. Vinícius and Doan almost made it 3-0, but the first half ended with a 2-0 lead.

Chasing the 3-0
PSV hardly gave away any space to Vitesse in the first game, now they had the same task. The opponent began to get into a better rhythm and managed a shot to Drommel, who was once again in the right place. The goalkeeper kept a fine game. After Vitesse's opportunities, PSV continued to hunt for the 3-0. First it was Götze with an effort that went just off the post. Then a combination of Bruma and Vinícius that just failed to produce a good shot. With twenty minutes to go it seemed a matter of time before PSV could add the points.

In the final phase Yorbe Vertessen came into the field for Bruma. The Belgian immediately showed himself with a flashing dribble that the Arnhem defense could not keep up with. Maxi Romero also got playing time just before the end. The Argentine almost scored the third goal, but the flag went up for offside. The second half was less flashy than the first, but PSV again kept control and was in little danger. A clean sheet, two fantastic goals and three points for the club.
