Which media have players and trainers spoken to? What happens behind the scenes and how do former PSV players fare? PSV is a topic of conversation. Always and everywhere. The editors of PSV.nl read everything and select the most important messages you don't want to miss.

Ihattaren reaches special milestone
At 17 years and 187 days, Mohamed Ihattaren is PSV's fifth youngest ever goal scorer, Eindhovens Dagblad reports. The technician is now the first player from birth year 2002 or later to score in the premier league. The youngest scoring PSV player is still Piet Giesen, who scored in 1962 when he was 17 years and 35 days old. The top five now consists of those Giesen, Zakaria Labyad, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Ismail Aissati and Mohamed Ihattaren.

New role suits Bergwijn
Last season Steven Bergwijn mainly played on the flanks, but now he is increasingly deployed as an attacking midfielder. In conversation with Fox Sports, the Oranje international says he feels comfortable in the role: "Of course it takes some getting used to, last year I only played on the flank. Now I get the ball much more often and I can come in nicely from midfield. This suits me."

'PSV did what it had to do'
According to VI reporter Geert-Jan Jakobs, PSV "did what it had to do" against Heracles Almelo: "Heracles wasn't in a position to make things very difficult for PSV so PSV, after a phase where it was under pressure for a while, was still able to finish the match quite easily." The journalist is also positive about the growth of Érick Gutiérrez: "He is slowly growing more into his role as a controlling midfielder." Listen to his analysis here.

'We were in control of the match '
Pablo Rosario was in good spirits after the match against Heracles Almelo. PSV is currently playing with a young team, but that doesn't have to be a problem according to the midfielder: "Every now and then it doesn't go the way we want, but we're working hard on that. But it's nice to see those young guys playing and going together for one thing and that is victory" he says in conversation with the Eindhovens Dagblad. This season Rosario is on the field as captain and he is doing well: "I have always been someone who took the lead. Now people look at me differently because I wear the captain's armband but for me it makes no difference."

Ihattaren happy with first goal
Last week Mohamed Ihattaren scored twice against FC Den Bosch for Young PSV and now against Heracles Almelo in the first: "Wonderful, my first official goal. I'm going to celebrate that at home," he said in conversation with Fox Sports. "I immediately thought of my mother. Who knows how much I talked at home about scoring my first goal. If my mom keeps me calm and says the first goal is going to come, then that goal is for her too, and my sister of course." Watch the full interview here.

Van Bommel praises young group
Mark van Bommel was satisfied after the victory over Heracles Almelo. "We have a young squad that is capable of a lot and can sometimes score a lot of goals, but now I am happy that we took home the points in a businesslike and solid manner," the coach said in front of Fox Sports' camera. Van Bommel is satisfied, but does acknowledge that things do not always go smoothly: "In every game, situations arise in which you get into difficulties. That's not a disaster, as long as you don't score a goal."

Impressive story of recovery Thomas
Finally, a recommendation for anyone who has not yet read it. The NRC followed for a year the recovery of Ryan Thomas, the midfielder who didn't play a minute because of a serious injury: "Every day you walk back to your car, you hope you've gotten a little bit better." The story can be read in its entirety here.
