After the 3-0 victory over AZ, PSV is keen to win the topper against Feyenoord as well. It will be the 131st time that clubs have faced each other in the Eredivisie and in recent seasons PSV has proved difficult against the Rotterdammers.

Good start
PSV is in a good flow. They won their first top match against AZ, making them the only club yet to lose any points this Eredivisie season. Feyenoord, which played one less game, is in seventh place. The team has played three matches, one of which it lost against FC Utrecht.

Breaking series
In the last six Eredivisie matches, PSV failed to win against the Rotterdammers. The club is therefore eager to break the negative run. The last time the Feyenoord team won was on Feb. 25, 2018. It then went 1-3 at De Kuip thanks to goals from Santiago Arias, Steven Bergwijn and Gastón Pereiro.

Not beyond a draw
At Philips Stadium, Feyenoord often fails to get beyond a draw. The last time the team won there was on Sept. 18, 2016. The biggest loss was on October 24, 2010. The Rotterdammers then lost 10-0.

Goals
19-year-old Noni Madueke is one goal away from scoring his 10th Eredivisie goal for PSV. Only eight PSV players ever reached that mark as a teenager. The last player to succeed was Memphis in 2013.

Good substitutes
PSV has a wide selection with many players. Head coach Roger Schmidt changes his players regularly, and for good reason. This calendar year, PSV scored 13 Eredivisie goals via substitutes, at least 5 more than any other club in 2021.
