At the training camp in Germany on Saturday night, PSV was able to greet the three newcomers Jeffrey Bruma, Santiago Arias and Stijn Schaars. After they signed their contracts at Philips Stadium, technical manager Marcel Brands took them to PSV's players' hotel. There, head coach Phillip Cocu was able to welcome them to the selection.
In the evening, the trio of Bruma, Schaars and Arias arrived in Germany, having signed four-, three- and four-year contracts in Eindhoven earlier in the day. Especially for Santiago Arias, it was quite a trip: from Lisbon via Amsterdam to Eindhoven, only to make the trip to Germany by car. The defender was happy to make it, as were Schaars and Bruma. After arriving at the hotel, Phillip Cocu welcomed them. The three will not yet be in action against Hannover 96, but will join the squad and follow the program that lasts until Monday. PSV TV had an interview with the three new PSV players shortly after arrival, which appears late Saturday night on PSV TV Online.
