Head coach Roger Schmidt will not be on the bench Tuesday night when PSV takes on FC Emmen. The KNVB has made the PSV coach a settlement proposal of two duels suspension, one of which is conditional. The proposal has been accepted by Schmidt and PSV.
The proposal was prompted by statements the PSV head coach made about referee Bas Nijhuis after the Sparta Rotterdam - PSV game. The prosecutor of professional football of the KNVB opened an investigation. Lars Kornetka and Jörn Wolf will take over Schmidt's duties against FC Emmen.
