PSV has signed a partnership with De Graafschap. PSV will cooperate with the Gelderland club in the field of youth scouting. PSV's Head of Youth Training Ernest Faber and Jefta Bresser, De Graafschap's Head of Youth Training, ratified the link prior to the Young PSV - De Graafschap match.
Eye for football talent
By using each other's knowledge in the field of youth scouting, PSV and De Graafschap want to ensure that less football talent is lost. "That unfortunately still happens too often in the Netherlands," explains Ernest Faber. "In our eyes everyone is unique and through this cooperation we can offer our players even better customization. By working together more intensively, we think we can provide both youth academies with the most promising talents, lift youth scouting to a higher level and achieve a more efficient filling of our teams."
Shared culture
PSV and De Graafschap have maintained a good relationship for a long time. Discussions about mutual knowledge sharing have led to this partnership. "The culture of PSV and De Graafschap is close to each other," adds Jefta Bresser. "We are convinced that both clubs will benefit from this." In addition to the cooperation in the field of youth scouting, there are opportunities to expand cooperation in the technical and organizational fields at the youth level.
