UEFA has presented PSV with an official plaque for participating in the UEFA Europa League. Marcel Brands accepted the plaque at a lunch at Ikigai restaurant at Philips Stadium. This happened during the previous home match in the Europa League against FC Zurich.

It is customary for UEFA to offer participating clubs an attribute during one of the home matches played during a main tournament. PSV already received many dozens of them for participations in the UEFA Cup, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
