To combat congestion around the catering points in the Philips Stadium, PSV and Top Events will offer a modified food selection starting Tuesday during the UEFA Champions League match against Sporting CP. The pilot applies only to the Promenade on the South Stand and the lower ring on North and, if satisfied, will be rolled out permanently to the other places in the stadium.
The modified assortment includes a chicken satay sandwich, hot chicken, ball out of gravy, (veggie) croquette and buckets of croquettes, mini spring rolls and chicken wings. French fries and (other) loose snacks will be dropped because of the longer preparation time. This adjustment in the menu should ensure shorter queues at the catering points. In other stadiums, such a change in offerings has led to positive reactions.
