Head coach Peter Bosz was very pleased with Matteo Dams and Richy Ledezma after the game with N.E.C. Nijmegen. The backs on duty gave the visitors no chance to counter. The coach refuted that it was an easy afternoon.

How do you look at the development of Matteo Dams
"It's fantastic. He really has qualities, everyone can see that. Sometimes you need some luck, because it's not his natural position, but he's doing very well."

Do you get satisfaction from him and Richy Ledezma doing well in a different position than they are used to?
"Not necessarily satisfaction, because you prefer to put them in their natural position. But when it works it's nice. I thought both Richy and Matteo played very well today. Then you can say, 'it was against ten men,' but even teams with ten men regularly come out dangerous. But N.E.C. didn't get that chance."

What did you think of the match?
"Good, but we should have scored a little more often. Especially considering we were with one man more. At the same time, I'm glad we didn't have to give everything for the three points. That's nice with an eye on Tuesday."

You had to win from N.E.C. too, right?
"I disagree with you. I think FC Twente still played to a draw today. It may seem easy, but it's not. Last year at one point people also said we were untested. But winning against 'smaller' teams is also very difficult."

Do you think Matteo Dams and Richy Ledezma can also compete at UCL level? "Yes definitely. I see them every day at training and then you see the potential. They don't do everything well yet, but you see they can do it. Against Heracles Almelo Richy fell out with cramp, then you see how quickly they make steps conditionally and also in terms of football level."

Do you have enough players for Tuesday?
"A number of players have already returned today and more will return on Tuesday, so I think the bench will be well filled soon."
