Peter Bosz is disappointed with Tuesday's defeat, but has since put it behind him. He is setting his sights on revenge against sc Heerenveen. Asked what he wants to see tomorrow, he answers firmly, "A win.
What do you expect from sc Heerenveen?
"I find it very interesting to follow Robin van Persie. He has a fairly similar style to what I use, so that's nice. So I expect them to do the same as normal, put high pressure and build from the back. But it could also be the case that teams do something different because they are playing against us, I do take that into account."
How is everyone's fitness?
"We play a lot of games, so there are always a few slight complaints. But there is no one who is definitely not in the selection yet. Actually, it's kind of the same as every week. I will go to training this afternoon to see how everyone feels and from that I will make my decision on who I will or will not take with me."
How did you handle Tuesday's defeat?
"We analyzed the game right after we got out of the airport. Normally I don't do that until the day after, but I didn't want to walk around with a bad feeling for so long. We drew a line under it and have been focusing on sc Heerenveen ever since."
What do you want to see tomorrow that you didn't see on Tuesday?
"At least a win. That's basically where it starts. Once we have that win we can look further. Then we want to win with beautiful football. Those are the two most important things."
Did you look back at last season's game?
"That match is actually separate from this one. Last season was our best game, but that says nothing about tomorrow's. They play differently and have a different coach. So I can't say anything about that."
A lot of guys are coming back from injury. Isn't the winter break coming too soon for you guys?
"I can't say anything about that. If we lose again tomorrow you might say: happy, winter break. But indeed, a lot of guys are coming back, so for them it might not be the right timing. I don't really think it's that relevant. It just is, so I can't do anything about it. We play three more games, all three of which I want to win. Let's do that first."
