Peter Bosz is going to rely on his own strength in the topper, he said at Friday afternoon's press conference. The head coach is looking forward to the meeting with Ajax, which he says played a good game against Feyenoord.
What kind of match are you expecting tomorrow?
"Another top match. When the best three in the Netherlands play each other, it's always a top match. Regardless of a team's form. Last season Ajax had a lesser season but we didn't win in Amsterdam either."
With how much guts, fun and self-confidence are you traveling to Amsterdam?
"Confidence is there, because we have won all ten games. Guts and fun we always have."
How will you play?
"I always stick to my own philosophy. Only you have to focus it for every opponent. Ajax's coach changes often, so that's harder to analyze. Many teams change their tactics against us, which is exactly why we stick to our own tactics."
What do you expect from Malik Tillman tomorrow?
"He's going to play a crucial role, because he's in a crucial position. The real top footballers have to be there week in and week out. That wasn't always the case with him yet, but he's getting better at that."
Were you able to train well this week?
"Since three to four weeks we have been training at the very highest level again, so I am very happy with that. After last season, it's only natural that things are a little less after that. That's human. Fortunately, we didn't leave any points in that period."
Do you prefer a clear starting lineup or maybe fifteen players who can start?
"I prefer that we win every game. But I always have more than eleven base players. You can't play a whole season with the same eleven names. Again this season there are more base players than I can field."
Does the Ajax game last week still play a role?
"It doesn't matter that much. We also sometimes have that we play a weekday game, we don't get better or worse from that either."
What are you most looking forward to?
"To hug each other after we win. I just want to win, otherwise I'm not looking forward to anything."
