Peter Bosz looks ahead to the UEFA Champions League encounter with Girona FC during the press conference. The coach expects a fun and open match, but does not want to name a favorite. Ryan Flamingo also joins for a chat.

How inconvenient is it that you only have two full days between games? "Not inconvenient at all. We are used to it. If you want to play European, this is part of it. We discuss quickly after and name what we see as a staff. Both the good and bad moments. Then it's also that done, line under it and on to the next game."

What do you think of Girona FC
?
"It's a good team. Last season they had a good team and were very consistent. It's a little less so this season, but that's also because of their UEFA Champions League obligations. The first thing I think about with Girona FC is good football."

What do you expect from the match?

"A match at a very high level, they have a lot of quality. They want to have the ball, be dominant and play forward through good positional play. When two teams who want to play football face each other, it generally produces fun matches."

The upcoming opponents are somewhat smaller in name. Are they also opponents against whom three points should be taken?

"We have had a tough program in which we took two points. Now indeed come games in which we need to get the three points. At home against Sporting CP we were well on our way, then I thought we should win. Now we will see if we can do that tomorrow against Girona FC."

Ryan Flamingo:

How did you experience last weekend?

"I thought it was a tough match, we were the lesser side. It wasn't good enough, so we have to do better against Girona FC. It's nice though that we can forget the game against Ajax quickly because of the weeklong meeting. Then we can move on quickly and show that we can play good football."

What do you think of Girona FC?

"I've seen them play against Paris Saint-Germain and Feyenoord. They are a footballing team, they can do that well. So it's going to be a tough match, but if we reach our level and give 100% we can win."

Are you extra stimulated after Saturday?

"After Saturday you feel you have to perform well. A top team never loses twice in a row. We have to perform and be focused, then we should be fine."

Are you already used to UEFA Champions League matches?

"The first time it was different anyway, because then everything is completely new. Now it is already starting to get used to it a bit more because there are less and less new stimuli."

Should it happen for you now, with four opponents who have slightly less of a name?

"We want to set the game tomorrow. In the Champions League we did play some good games. Well we have to continue that line and do take the points. We will go into the match with the same attitude. Be dominant, have the ball a lot. We are good at that."
