With the duels against N.E.C. Nijmegen and Juventus FC ahead, there was plenty to discuss at Friday afternoon's press conference. But Peter Bosz goes into the first busy weeks of the season with full confidence.

What are your expectations for the game with N.E.C?
"It's the only club that beat us in the league last year. So they know how to do it and they also have very good players. So we have to start very well, especially so soon after the international period. That is difficult, but we showed last year that we can do it. Then, by the way, we 'just' won 4-0 at home."

How do you stand in terms of the selection?
"We achieved our goal in the transfer market. We got reinforcements for a number of positions. There is also the supply from Young PSV. Matteo is doing very well, that's also a good reinforcement."

What about Rick Karsdorp's fitness?
"He still has to get into the rhythm because he hasn't played a game since April. We are taking our time to build it up so we avoid injuries. But we knew that before we took him over. So it's also absolutely not a setback that he's not playing."

And Adamo Nagalo?
"We received his work permit today. He will not be in the matchday squad tomorrow yet, but can train with us from now on."

How is it that Johan Bakayoko is never injured?
"Johan is a special case, his genes are probably very good. He is a sprinter and they are generally a bit more injury prone. Joey, for example, is also rarely injured, but he trains differently. That's because he's a diesel. He runs just as many kilometers per race, but handles more of the same pace."

Doesn't the busy schedule come just a little too early when you look at the injured?
"No, we have more than eleven good players. Because of injuries, now other guys can start to show it. Matteo for example, he will just go with us to Turin, because he has played very well so far."
