Head coach Peter Bosz is pleased with the 8-0 victory over Royal HFC in the second round of the TOTO KNVB Cup. The practice master states that you "can only lose this kind of match," and therefore players must give the maximum.
How did you approach this competition?
"We approached this match seriously. You have to if you want to advance a round. You can only lose duels like this unless you score a lot of goals and keep the zero. Meanwhile, it's nice that we can let a lot of players build match rhythm."
What did you think of HFC's play?
"In the first half, they were already trying to put us under pressure. Of course they were pushed back at times, but they came here to play football. You can only have respect for that."
Is this a game of check off and through?
"No, I don't think so. You have to have an attitude that you want to give the maximum every game. When I was a player, I didn't struggle with these kinds of pots. Some players do."
Bakayoko was not there, is that worrying towards the game with Feyenoord?
"I don't know, time will tell."
What did you think of Tygo Land today?
"He fell in very well. I was also very happy with his assist to Ivan. That's exactly how we want to see it."
