Peter Bosz, Guus Til and Mauro JR answered questions from journalists after the 5-0 win over FC Groningen. Where the head coach is normally critical even in a win, he is now praising his team.
Peter Bosz
What did you think of the match?
"We really played good football for ninety minutes. They might have had two counters, but other than that we weren't in any danger. I'm often critical of my team, but today it was a really good game."
Does Pepi's hat trick make your job harder?
"No, I'm happy to have two good strikers."
Is a two striker system an option?
"For years we have had a system that everyone thrives on and that is with one striker."
You missed half a team, but you're still SO dominant. What does that say?
"That we have a very good selection. Many teams diminish a little when they make some changes. We don't."
Is the competition greater than last season?
"Yes, I think so. Malik has definitely broken through, the same goes for Ismael. Mauro JR and Armando were injured for a long time last year and are fit now. And then you have some new names."
Why wasn't Noa Lang there today?
"He hurt his back after the last practice. We took a look at how he got through the night, but it wasn't good enough. For our game you have to be top fit, so then it stops."
Guus Til
You finally score again, how does that feel?
"Every chance you make a lot bigger in your head and that doesn't help in the completion. But I just have to act normal and start scoring more again, haha!"
It was also a long wait for the finally disallowed goal by Ismael Saibari.
"Yes, I understood that the system was broken for a while. That's why it took a little longer."
Pepi made three today, are you happy for him?
"Right now everything he touches turns to gold. I think it's very nice for him."
Mauro JR
You played a tremendous game again today. At your substitution your name was chanted. How does that feel?
"I have been with PSV for eight years now and from the beginning I have given everything for this beautiful club. That the supporters recognize that and chant your name feels very good. It gives me confidence to keep working hard."
