PSV left nothing to the imagination today. A huge victory over sc Heerenveen means it has one leg on the flat cart. Head coach Peter Bosz was therefore proud of his boys afterwards.
"I stood and clapped for them. It was such an insanely high level, it was enjoyable. Compliments also for the field, which was very good. That benefits our game. I almost didn't come off the bench," says Peter Bosz.
Peter obviously realized that this is unique. "We have to realize that we don't just become champions. I am insanely proud of my boys, the staff and the club. I am happy to be a trainer here. Afterwards I really wanted to take a group photo. Capturing that moment together, I thought was very beautiful."
At the time of the press conference, Feyenoord is leading 2-0. The Head Coach hopes that still changes. "Now I also want to be official champions. The sooner the better."
Best game of the season
A reporter asks Joey Veerman why things went so easily tonight. "It didn't go easy, we were just very good," he parries, "it was enjoyment on the pitch. How we scored the goals. This might be our best game of the season. We'll go home on the bus and then we'll see what happens in Deventer. Or actually that doesn't really matter much anymore either..."
