PSV had a fairly easy night at home on Saturday. The ninth Eredivisie win in a row was secured after a 3-1 victory over Fortuna Sittard. Head coach Peter Bosz was pleased with the match as well as with the strike-safe Guus Til and André Ramalho.
At the Philips Stadium, PSV also remained faultless against Fortuna Sittard. Peter Bosz saw that his team played at a low tempo in the first half, but also expressed understanding for that. "It is not easy to play against a team that is so compact and in possession only plays the long ball. Yet then we find space and score three goals. We did that well," said Bosz, who when asked said he was disappointed with the goal. "They didn't really come close to our goal once and then it's annoying that the ball went in anyway. I felt it was coming."
Complimental
The Head Coach was very complimentary of the aptly named André Ramalho. "He is a mentality player who goes along with the level we are putting on the mat. He is also growing in ball possession with us," said the practice master who also spoke highly of Guus Til who has scored four goals in his last five games. "The first goal was great; maybe the best of this season. It was well crossed, laid back with the wrong leg and Guus was ready for the goal as always. His runs behind the defense; he is really a master in that."
Offensive minded
Guus Til is satisfied and says the whole team is running well. "We, as attacking players, benefit a lot from the many situations from which you can create chances. Today that was difficult at times. Fortuna Sittard was so slumped that it was difficult to keep doing what was asked of you. But we win and that's fine."
