PSV takes on sc Heerenveen on Thursday. Before the weeklong round of matches, the coach looks ahead to the encounter with the Frisian team, highlights absentees and praises Olivier Boscagli.

Bosz had to miss his outfielders Noa Lang and Hirving Lozano in the won away game against Feyenoord (2-1). The attackers are not yet fit enough to make their return against sc Heerenveen, Bosz indicated. They are not the only players PSV will have to miss against the Frisian club. "Due to medical protocols Jordan Teze is not there," the Head Coach explained. Jordan had to leave the field early at the weekend after colliding with an opponent. Joey Veerman also fell out injured, whether he will be deployable against his old club is still doubtful.

Olivier in the spotlight
With a goal, Olivier Boscagli was among the standouts against Feyenoord. Bosz therefore describes the Frenchman as an important player within his selection. "He has played almost everything so far and he has done that very well. He also shows himself during training sessions. He is going through a very consistent season and has not weakened yet. If you saw how he made the difference against Feyenoord with a defensive move and then corrected his fellow players, you see that he is also making strides in that area. I see him as one of the leaders of the team."

Looking ahead
PSV had a good week with victories over Sevilla FC and Feyenoord: the club qualified for the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League and increased the distance with the number two in the league to 10 points. Peter Bosz remains level-headed. "Every game we play is a potential banana skin. I label every game as the most important game, we've been doing that all season. Last week we played against teams we rate a little higher, then you're also in the spotlight a little more. If you win those games, the players get compliments. Then it's important to keep both feet on the ground."
