Head coach Peter Bosz speaks highly of his team during the press conference. The coach sees the level rising weekly and is pleased that the high level at training is now being shown on the field.

How satisfied are you with the 6-0?
"We started the match well with a good first goal. After that we slumped a bit, the build-up went a bit slower, but all the more important was the 2-0. Malik captured the ball very strongly there so I was very happy when that goal fell. What I especially liked was that against ten men we did things differently than last week against AZ. I also said to the guys at halftime 'it's much more fun to keep going and score those goals'. It's more fun for the people in the stands and for themselves as well. I think they accelerated and did well."

What did you think of Ricardo Pepi today?
"His performance is impressive, but he only has one problem. There is someone in front of him who is also showing impressive numbers. I see the development with him in terms of ball retention and defending. But scoring, he can do that, there should be no doubt about that."

Was it a conscious experiment to play with Luuk and Pepi together?
"It was definitely a conscious experiment, because there are times when you are playing a game and you are looking for a system where they can play together. Against ten men this is also easier to try out, but the point is that this should be possible when ever we play against eleven men, we are behind and we have to. That's why today it was ideal to substitute Luuk and let them play together."

Do you feel you've gotten to last year's level?
"We're not there yet, but we're really getting better every week. Especially at practice I see that, so we are finally on the right track."

In the 39th minute, Malik has a tackle on the back line and in the same minute he gives the ball from which a goal follows. What do you think of his performance?
"I think his best position is really the number ten position, but because he is an athlete and a soccer-intelligent player, he can also play on the left or as a controlling midfielder. Although those are not his favorite positions mind you."
