PSV can credit its fifteenth win of the season after the home victory over sc Heerenveen. Head coach Peter Bosz saw areas for improvement in the first half, but is mostly praising his players.

The coach was pleased with the win and expressed his pride. "This was one of the better teams we have played against so far. They have good footballers, but that makes me extra happy that we won." According to the coach, his team could have played a better first half. "I thought it was too open, we weren't compact enough and didn't cover through. That's something that can be improved."

Club record
With the win over the Frisians, PSV has managed to win all of its first fifteen matches of the season. In the 1987-1988 season, under Guus Hiddink, PSV won seventeen games in a row. Peter Bosz is getting closer and closer to the club record. "I don't attach a lot of value to it, but I think it's very special. People still talk about the success team of that year, it would be very nice if in thirty years time people also talk about this team with admiration."

Ricardo & Mauro JR
Just like in the won away game with Sevilla FC, Ricardo Pepi was a striker as a substitute. The American signed for the 2-0 cold in the field, to the delight of Peter Bosz. "Unbelievable. He gets one chance and shoots it right in. I always panicked in that position as a player, I think it's so clever," joked the Head Coach.

For substitute Mauro Júnior, the win over the Frisians was an extra special one: he returned to the lines after months of injury. For Bosz, it was a highlight of the match. "I thought it was great how he came back and especially the way he was received by the crowd. Those are some side issues, but that's nice to see."
