"No, but disappointed in the result. I'm not disappointed in the team, I saw a good PSV today."
How was the atmosphere in the locker room
"Everyone was of course extremely disappointed, but I tried to take that away a bit. I pointed out to them that this is the PSV I want to see."
What kind of PSV was that?
"I saw a PSV that dared to play football, showed guts and defended great. I'm very proud of that."
Should you have played more defensively in the final stages?
"No, this opponent is used to playing against a wall. You always have to go for that second one. Otherwise you play into their hands. You're unlucky that it fell like that now."
Does this match give you confidence?
"Well, I already knew we could do this, because we showed that last year. And we have pretty much the same guys. I'm glad I saw last year's game again, though. We have to take that into the Eredivisie now."
The defense was very good.
"We showed footage this afternoon to the defense of this striker. It's a powerful, fast guy. Then it's clever that, with so much space in the back, everything is right. We did that very well as a team, but also definitely compliments in that for Ryan Flamingo, who was one-on-one."
What did you think of Schouten's goal?
"He got in front of his man very well and shot it perfectly."
