PSV knows in AZ its last Eredivisie game before entering the winter break. Ahead of the away game, Head Coach Peter Bosz sees his squad's injury bow getting emptier, praises Guus Til and feels within his that breaking a club record is getting closer.

In the game against Alkmaar, Bosz may have Jerdy Schouten, Joey Veerman and Hirving Lozano at his disposal again. "All three have trained fully, but that does not say everything. Depending on the last training before the game I will decide if they can be there," said the coach. For Noa Lang, the game with the number three of the Eredivisie still comes too soon.

In the books
Should the Apeldoorner's formation take on the North Holland team, it will be the 16th consecutive victory this season. Only one less than the longest winning streak ever in the Eredivisie. "I notice anyway that it is starting to live more and more in the group," Bosz said, referring to equaling or breaking the historic milestone. "I was just talking about it today with Guus Til." The Head Coach speaks highly of Guus' development. "His qualities are coming out very well this season: he always dives up in front of the goal, puts in a lot of work and keeps putting pressure at high intensity. In addition, he has a good dose of football intelligence."

Staying focused
On Monday, Dec. 18, the draw for the first round of the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League will take place. PSV's opponent will be known then, but Peter Bosz is not concerned with that at all. "That is still too far away. The matches in all competitions follow each other so quickly, we have to stay focused. Right now we are only concerned with the match against AZ. Besides, I have no influence on the draw," he says. "I wouldn't know which teams we could all draw."
